The paper examines the election of Barack Obama, stressing on the sense of change that spread in the United States and the ability of the new elected President to embody the necessities of the electorate. Besides, the author provides a compelling comparison of Bush’s strategy in the Middle-East, especially for what concerns relations with India, with the previous policy of Nixon with China.
