Giuseppe Terranova is Professor of African History and Institutions in the Faculty of Political Science of the Niccolò Cusano University in Rome. He is Vice Director of West-Welfare, Society and Territory and a member of the editorial committee of Outre-Terre, Revue Européenne de Géopolitique. Previously he has been visiting research fellow at Science-Po Sorbonne University in Paris. His main fields of research are international migrations, Euro-Mediterranean relationships, and African political and territorial tensions.
