International Solidarity in Autonomous and Non-Institutionalised Movements

The Hans-Boeckler-Foundation organizes in cooperation with the Goettingen Graduate School of Social Science the conference on “International Solidarity reloaded” from 2nd to 4 th of April 2014. The conference focuses on the opportunities for and challenges to international solidarity in the context of globalisation and social transnationalisation. In particular, it aims to close the yawning gap in the theoretical debate on the importance of international solidarity and on its foundations, prerequisites and obstacles. Cristina Flesher Fominaya, ECIA Fellow, will deliver an opening speech on “International solidarity in autonomous and non-institutionalised movements”.
