Piero Luigi Fratini is the Director of Communication & Media at ECIA. He works for an Agency of the European Commission in Brussels and is a specialist in communication and project management. He has an extensive experience in designing communication and media campaigns as well as in coordinating editorial projects. In 2008 he has coordinated the publication of the Handbook EU – Russia Energy Relations, in cooperation with the EU Commissioner for energy Adris Piebalgs. Since 2008 he is a member of the editorial board of the Oil, Gas, Energy Law and has also served as member of the Chatham House Under 35s Forum Steering Group. Before joining the European Commission, Mr. Fratini has worked for a leading communication-public relations company and for the government relations office of the biggest conglomerate worldwide in Rome, Brussels and London. He was an advisor for the Italian Presidency for the Council of Ministers (two Prime Ministers) and began his career working within the CEO Staff Office of Intesa S. Paolo Group, a leading European banking and financial group.
