Danica Šantić, Fellow at the ECIA, is Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Geography, Belgrade University. A graduate in Phisical Geography, she holds a Master of Demography in Migration and PhD in Population Geography (optimum population theories regarding spatial distribution of population) from the University of Belgrade. Dr. Santic is teaching Population Geography, Population Theories, Migration, Population of the World, Population of EU and has published more than 40 articles in national and international academic journals. Her main geographical area of study concern South East Europe. She is a member of geographic and demographic associations in Serbia, member of IUSSP-International Union for the Scientific Study of Population, and Fellow in Global Social Governance at the International Social Science Council.
