Cristina Fletcher Fominaya, ECIA Fellow, co-editor, along with Laurence Cox, of Understanding European Movements: New Social Movements, Global Justice Struggles, Anti-Austerity Protest, is the co-chair of the Council for European Studies Social Movements Research Network and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at the University of Aberdeen. In this interview with CritCom, she shares her thoughts about social movements research in Europe. Her new book Social Movements and Globalization is forthcoming from Palgrave MacMillan in May 2014.
